A Small Tweak For Everyone Using FireFox That Could Help You. And One I've Been Actively Searching For, For A Long Time.
Doesn't it just infuriate you when your trying to use your favourite browser and you're probably one of those people like me who have so many YouTube Tabs open, maybe even a Backlog of Games that you haven't been bothered to write the URL's down into a text file yet, some work files open, maybe your a documentor who went to sleep, wakes up and then has to wait a long time for FireFox to finally load up because maybe you don't have a lot of RAM and FireFox is trying to load all the tabs up at once. Well I may have a solution for you.
I've spent my time searching and searching for the answer to my problem. How, just how do I stop FireFox from loading every single tab when the browser is launched, when I might need to only do a quick search, well hidden in amongst all the searches on Startpage, DuckDuckGo, Google and Bing, I opened a Google Group's URL and it told me the exact answer that I was longing for. Reddit is normally my best friend here but not even they could help me with such a request. However, someone named "Peter Potamus & His Magic Flying Balloon" on the Google Group said the exact thing I was looking for, and he said:
in the address bar type in about:config and look for this entry: browser.tabs.loadInBackground
once found, double click on it and change it to true

Except only here, the fix for me wasn't setting this Value to True but rather setting it to False, and Volia, it fixed the problem, now whenever I press on a tab it loads only the one I've pressed when I've opened FireFox, it does not open all the unnessesary tabs that I won't be using that day.
From Reddit I've also heard that if this fix doesn't work for you, again go to:
about:config
And setting the following String to False:
browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand
But this didn't work for me which is why I've been actively searching for a fix which is the one I provided above. I've also heard that if you want your pinned tabs to not load on Browser Launch you can also adjust this String to False:
browser.sessionstore.restore_pinned_tabs_on_demand
But again this also didn't work for me so I can't promise that any of these will work for you.
